UK born, French mother, American Father.

Graphic Designer by profession, degree done in Bath, UK.

Have travelled a lot since, starting with Peru, then Europe and North America.

Dream to visit the shores of Hawaii some day, also to see Japan and do a tea ceremony.

Interested in :

Spirituality; have spent time with Buddhist monks in Plum Village,

Healing: Explored Shamanic Plant work in Peru.

Drawing: Spent a summer drawing in a Ecole De Beaux Arts in Paris.

Cooking: Always love to learn new recipes and share ones I know (French mainly).

Self Improvement: currently doing a course by Sadhguru called Inner Engineering.

I have not found the work of Graphic Design to be very for filling so have decided to find a new purpose with helping people with special needs.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am on a journey to find people who I can relate to and who can relate to me. I have travelled to different parts of the world to find a better understanding of who I am and how to be more connected to that. I value people who have a genuine search for truth. Couchsurfing might give me the opportunity to spend time with like minded people and find new interesting parts of the world.

Interests

So many things interest me, it’s a question of selecting. I am interested in the theory of music, including the history and it’s function as a mirror to society. I also see design as this process, and have spent lots of time learning about the history of typography and how it has changed the world.

Places I do not know are also of interest to me. Once I decided to take a random trip to Spain and landed in Madrid with no idea where to go, I loved it!

I love to get to know things that I don’t know that I don’t know if that makes sense.

Explored the river Amazon on a kayak, including Rapids.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach a bit of design history and theory, also am
Quite good with design software.

I can share my Experiences of Spirituality and different cultures, also a little bit about music.

I am keen to learn about all of this stuff too, and anything to do with healing.

What I Can Share with Hosts

My journey, on two levels. On the horizontal, where I went what I did, etc and the more you get to know me, the vertical, what is driving me to travel.

I have experiences of different cultures that have been part of my life since birth (UK, France, USA). So I can share with people and empathise what it means to be in one culture but feel like you are from another.

Also practically I can do some good things, like make a dinner, help with the tidying, and also have fun whilst doing it!
