Australian born, I grew up in France, near Paris.
I've decided to take (at least) a year off from a good-paying-but-not-fulfilling-9-to-5 job in Paris, to reconnect with my roots, with my family over here in Australia, and also, with this amazing land.
This change of life, rhythm and country sure has its share of challenges, but meeting and (re-)connecting with people is so fulfilling and growth provoking, that i have no doubt in my heart it's the right choice.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

Hosting the people that come my way. Trusting my feeling and trying to be in the Flow. Trying to provide my guests with a home away from home. Surfing the couches of people who are generous and open and striving to be the best guest in the world.

兴趣

Spontaneity and the adrenaline of performing -- have practiced Improv theater for about 5 years and performed in a few shows in theaters in Paris.

Coaching and teaching -- I have been practicing personal development and life coaching for about 7 years and am starting to teach it too.

Kung fu - Martial arts make me totally focus on my body in the moment. I can also practice concentration and feeling, and find ways to generate power. Trains both body and mind, and to some degree, some spirituality (Taoism..)

I enjoy dancing to RnB and Hip Hop tunes in Clubs.
I prefer playing folk rock and country music on the guitar (Bonnie Prince Billy, Townes Van Zandt, Micah P Hanson...).
I chill with some singer songwriter tunes (Bon Iver, Sufjan Stevens, Leonard Cohen, Kodaline, Bonnie Prince Billy, Bear's Den...).
And other fun stuff: Father John Misty, Marcus Miller, Nick Waterhouse...
Live i really like jazz too!
Some ambient and classical at select moments (massages, bath, relaxing)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Swimming in a lake in the French country side, surrounded by only nature, and the McKenzie lake in Australia on Frazer Island, with some of the purest sand in the world. And a beautiful lake in New Hampshire!

Lucid dreaming -- taking control of my dream without waking up and living (dreaming consciously) the GOOD LIFE !!!

Enjoying meals (feasts) prepared by my first couch surfer !!

Mental coaching is something i have been practicing for several years, it's optimisation of the human brain's potential, using the body of course, and regaining the capacities that we have but that we tend to block away... These "irrational" knowledges and powers can help immensly in the daily life. Not therapy, optimisation...

Have been self-teaching and playing acoustic guitar since 2015. Love to jam, sing, accompany and relax with my 6 strings! I play mainly country, and love songs. And some indie folk, folk rock.
