to hunt the white whale.
I grew up in the American West, nestled in the crags of the Rocky Mountains just South of Yellowstone. Due to my interest in high-falutin' "learning" and "academia" I packed my suitcases, and, kissing the bison goodbye, I ran off to New York City, wide-eyed and bushy tailed. I've since lived in Washington State and Oxford, U.K., and currently live in Washington DC. I've spent the winters reading in dusty libraries, and the summers bumming about the West, living in tents, swimming in rivers, and flipping burgers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I spent a year studying abroad and couchsurfed all over Europe. Back at school in NYC I hosted as much as I could. Now, after school, my current living situation won't allow hosting, but I'm looking forward to hosting again as soon as I can.
