I grew up in the American West, nestled in the Rockies just South of Yellowstone. College led me to New York; I've since lived in Washington State, Oxford, U.K., Washington DC, and I currently live in Queens. I've spent the winters reading in dusty libraries, and the summers bumming about the West, living in tents, swimming in rivers, and flipping burgers.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I spent a year studying abroad and couchsurfed all over Europe. Back at school in NYC I hosted as much as I could, now am hosting whenever possible. Love meeting people! Even when I can't travel, hosting reminds me what it feels like to be on the road.
making movies, writing novels, penning poems, playing games, juggling, and drinking. I like peculiar movies, books of the thick and frustrating variety, extensive board/card games, DIY body modification, poetry, philosophy, mathematics, all things imbibing, all things outdoors, persons of any variety, chess, mountaineering, tarot, mountain biking, rock climbing.
