Update: Resumed the trip, I've left Sydney and am now hitchhiking up the East Coast!

This journey is not about tourism. I don't have a bucket list and I'm not trying to collect countries. It's about learning, sharing and helping first. As we say in french: I'll go to bed less stupid tonight!
It's not a lifelong journey though, I want to come back some day and put in practice everything I learnt to make this world a sustainable one.
How would you do it? It looks like politics might be on the plate but I'm open for suggestions.

I am currently trying to make a world tour by hitchhiking and sailing, without using planes! I've been traveling for almost 4 years now and I'm still smiling ;)

From France, I studied in Switzerland and did an exchange year in England as the travel bug started biting me.
Unfortunately I haven't had a stable place to host people yet, and my debt will be huge for sure, but I don't consider you as a free hostel. I'm resourceful and I'm always looking to help.
People welcome me into their house by saying it's mine as well. So be it. In my house I cook, I clean, and I try to repair everything.
I started my life with theory, now it's time for a lot of practice and I love it! Both are better than only one...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It's an obvious choice!
Traveling without meeting people and making friends doesn't make sense to me. I need the human touch! I like to learn from people.
Hostels can be nice but often too crowded and not making interactions as easy as with Couchsurfing.

My references are too old I really need to read more...it may sound silly but I really enjoyed the Alchemist from Paulo Coelho (because I read it after starting my trip)
