If I could, I would travel for life, but I'm a graduate student currently on her last hurrah for summer travels this year. Other than that...... - I'm an open water certified SCUBA diver. - I have been on 3 medical mission trips to Panama and Nicaragua and led two of them. - I've swam, played football, bubble soccer, track and field, and done kiiking (Estonian extreme 15m swinging) competitively and skied and played volleyball for leisure. - I've been to 28 countries and counting. - I've played the violin and the trumpet since 4th and 6th grade, respectively. - I'm an animal lover - I have a dog, a cat, and 3 ducks. - Fastest way to my heart is through my stomach - introduce me to a great sandwich and we'll be fast friends While on paper I may look like a nerd who has frequented late nights at Club Library one too many times (add proud band geek to that title too), I have many more fun facts to share. Message me :)

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I admit that while I am backpacking on a budget, I also find that some of my most memorable travels have been due to meeting interesting and vibrant people and fellow travelers along the way. I love a good story and a shared adventure - especially if over some good food and cold beer (I've also dabbled in brewing beer with friends). Even if I don't end up on a couch or sleeping bag, sharing a coffee and a nice conversation someone will still make a pleasant memory for me.
What I Can Share With Hosts
I love cooking and I'm not shy of manual labor either. If you're in need of a spontaneous travel partner, then look no further =) Also, I can bring chocolates or any other sweets or foods to give to hosts who are willing to help this backpacker see the world (and sleep with a roof over her head).
