Overview
About Me
I am an outgoing former pro basketball player and former college coach. I love all sports and would love to experience sports all over the world. I was also an army brat so I am used to traveling and love learning about different cultures. I also am a lifelong learner who holds a Doctoral Degree in Educational Leadership and Administration. I also love food and a willing to try anything especially dessert;) I'm open to any and all experiences from wine tasting, to watching theatre, and hiking mountains! I'd like to say I'm 6'1 and tons of fun! But don't worry I also have my chill side too where I can sit at home and enjoy a good book.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am looking to be a part of a community of kindness. I believe no matter how big this world is we can find something that connects us. SO why not travel and get to know other people, communities, and cultures all while extending grace by showing hospitality. I want to be able to have good faith that the people I welcome into my home will feel the same. Plain and simply we can all help each other out, so why not?

I seriously love all kinds of music! I want to learn and listen to all of it!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been blessed to do some pretty amazing things. Most recently I climbed the highest mountain in Jamaica, Flew in a open door helicopter over NYC and took some foot selfies!
Driven cross country a few times
Actually something that has nothing to do with traveling, but with cultures is that I got to help organize the basketball portion of the World Games for Special Olympics in LA and it by far has been one of the most amazing and rewarding experiences I have ever had!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you how to cook Chicken Adobo as I am half Filipino;) Also, I can teach you how to dribble and shoot a basketball.
