About Me

CURRENT MISSION

explore, experience, and learn

ABOUT ME

I am a very liberal former Peace Corps Volunteer (Bulgaria 2007-2009) who enjoys traveling, learning about new cultures/subcultures/countercultures, teaching, exploring the wilderness, partying, music of all varieties (except most pop and country), cooking, art... creativity makes me smile.

PHILOSOPHY

Do good things, constantly. ("good" as defined by me)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Admittedly, I have primarily been on the receiving end couch surfing hospitality, however I love meeting new people and hope to host others when I have a more stable living situation.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have CS'd so far in a handful of countries and cities, but I plan to surf through several more countries if possible in the near future. Additionally, I have "freelance" slept on many couches in many different cities and towns, and for the most part it has been pretty rad. When I lived in Bulgaria, my number of nights spent on couches increased exponentially as I traveled all around the country staying with friends and acquaintances. I love being able to see a city from the perspective of someone who actually lives there, as well as having a wide variety of friends from all different backgrounds. For me, couch surfing is really the ideal way to see the world.

Interests

God lots of stuff. I hate being specific, but I mean... good books, good music, the internet, doing fun things and hanging out with fun and interesting people. also, mood lighting.
