About Me
Hello everyone,
I'm Juan, born and raised in Mexico so my first language is Spanish. I studied (and I'm graduated from) international business, in there I found what my passion in life is, which is languages. Since I was a kid, I started learning English, because here in Chapala Lakeside Area we have a really big American/Canadian community, and part of our culture already mixed with theirs. When I was in highschool, I met a girl from Brazil and we immediately became friends; we used to speak English between us, but we decided to learn the language of the other, and was when my journey with Portuguese started (and was pretty easy actually), then in college, since a didn't really need to take the English course, they gave me more language options, and I choose French.
Right now I work as a languages teacher and translator, and also, I'm part of the Tequila's International Film Festival, where I joined because of my languages skills and knowledge about foreign cultures.
What else..?
I'm a really laid-back guy.
I love to share and show all about my country and its culture.
I love traveling, learning and practicing languages, hiking and always be learning about everything.
I'm a truly open-minded person.
