About Me
Hello ! My name is Juanje, but everyone calls me JJ. I am from Spain but moved to London to study International politics and Economics. Since I can remember I ve loved travelling, meeting new people and learning about their culture. I have visited most of Europe and lived in China a couple of summers. My main motivation when traveling is integrating myself in the culture of the place, learning as much as possible and respecting and appreciating the cultural differences that bring us all together as the human kind. Discovering places that make pictures seem unreal is my favourite hobby.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Going to a hostel is a nice experience, but staying with local people is the real way to get to know a lace. Small or deep talk with hosts are probably the best insights you can get of a place. Always open to talk and share ideas, thoughts and point of views. I also love letting myself be surprised by what people and places have to offer.
Interests
Learning languages is definitely what I enjoy the most, but I love even more practicing them.
Big fan of poetry, and in general art and all the shapes it takes, from dancing, writing, painting to expressing oneself. Love killing my time doodling, writing and taking pictures and cooking.

Music, Movies, and Books
Any kind of mid 70s - 80s Italian music is something that will get me vining. otherwise, into French rap and why not some Spanish reggaeton from time to time.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
missing most of my buses/trains when travelling is definitely a real adrenaline rush. but so far, the craziest achievement has been camping in the Great Wall after a whole day of hiking into the forbidden abandoned part of the amazing wall. The stars shone brighter that night.

What I Can Share with Hosts
