About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To be a clearing for a peaceful, vibrantly healthy planet in which everybody's needs are met.

ABOUT ME

I'm a devoted Mama to two awesome, bright boys, ages 13 and 9.
I've been vegan for 3 decades. The boys are vegetarian.
I love biking, language, choral music, improvisational dancing, sustainability, Landmark Education and feeding people.
I'm Jewish and a lesbian.
I just finished college, and will soon be looking for my first post-college job in waste prevention? materials recovery? recycling education?
I've lived in New York State, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Washington, Oregon, and California. I lived in Catalonia as a child and as an adult, and speak both Catalan and Castillian Spanish proficiently. I spent my seventh summer in a small town on a mountain top in Italy. I've crossed the U.S. 3 times (in 1977, 1978 and 1994) and I've visited Canada and several countries in Western Europe.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I recently went on a concert tour with 70 members of my choir, Soromundi Lesbian Chorus of Eugene. We performed for LGBT youth groups in Portland, Oregon, Tacoma, Washington, and Seattle. We also sang Let it Be, flash-mob style, in the food court of a big mall in Tukwilla, Washington.

Teach, Learn, Share

Over two decades I have collected 71 titles of picture books about girls and young women in especially brave, intelligent, creative or spiritual roles. Bibliography available upon request.
I ate only raw and living foods for 8 1/2 years, and have knowledge and food prep skills to share.
I am an accomplished singer with a large repertoire of songs in various languages including Catalan and Ladino (Judeo-Espanyol), and I love to sing with and teach others.
