ABOUT ME

Hey...

I'm from Adelaide, Australia and moved to Los Angeles in Sept 2009 which has just been brilliant! I live in west hollywood right in the heart of some amazing restaurants and fun things to do! I'm a super positive, always happy kinda person and love meeting new people.... I'm truely someone who always looks at the bright side!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My best friend in the whole world... holly, a fellow couch surfer is always having people stay at her place in Adelaide and I just love meeting them all! So many fun stories and just awesome down to earth people ; )
I've caught up with lots of lovely local people from LA on this site and always looking at people travelling through to show them around.

Interests

Exploring my new home... the USA and its close neighbours Mexico, Canada and South America, ahhhh so excited!

- i also have done a bunch of flash mobs recently which has been super fun. I've been taking aerial tisu classes recently too which i LOVE!

-I love going to see live music, so if you have found something fun and would like someone to give you a lift and come with you, let me know!
-I love talking to strangers... never know where the day might take you
-random acts of kindness..
-fishing/crabbing
-just started learning guitar, and also loving playing bass
-cooking : i have a dinner party at my neighbours house every wednesday where i invite old friends, and fun people i met during the week. We have a theme and everyone brings yummy food to share, then we jam!! Hightlights were the Thai night and Southern night for sure!!!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- Saw Bon Iver, Fink, Regina Spektor and Phoenix in LA, so amazing!!!
- volunteering for G'Day USA in Jan 09 in LA and New York, it was so much fun, so proud to see the aussies doing well
- bike riding through berlin in the middle of winter
- asked to be a bridesmaid for a bestie
- danced on stage with snoop dogg
- went from "admin volunteer" at a 3 day music festival to being in charge of transfers for 20+ bands... 4 hours sleep in 4 days, but it was so much fun!
- i live with four boys
