I've done many forms of travelling - started with family vacations, then I took some language courses abroad; followed with Eurotrips with friends, wandering around with student organizations, volunteering with Workaway, hitchhiking. With my partner and my dog we usually travel by our camper van.

Currently I am on a 2 year career break and travelling+volunteering full time. Usually I travel for nature, camping, long distance hikes, eco tourism, wildlife watching. So I prefer the countryside, but I visit cities often too, to get the whole picture. I am interested in the way of life in each country.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I had a period of living in a small town in a suitable apartment to host couchsurfers. They brought the world to me when I couldn’t travel and I will be forever grateful for that.

Interests

Outdoors, camping, wildlife, nature, dogs, horses, reading (non-fiction), street workout, calisthenics, stretching, pop-science, philosophy, mediation, the state of the world, human nature.

Music, Movies, and Books

Books are my thing. One of the best things about solo travel is that on lazy days I can spend the whole day reading in beautiful places.
