About Me
Hello, my beautiful friends!
I'm a journalist and entrepreneur. Speaking about my origin, I was born in St. Petersburg, Russia. Currently I live in Ukraine but I travel a lot — 12-15 times a year — since it's related to my profession and I think it's just the best way to explore this life. Speaking about my background, I have a Master Degree in Journalism, I've worked with Ukrainian TV channels, YouTube, BMW USA and other companies helping them with copywriting, press-releases and so on.
I love meeting new people and listen to their story. I think communication and foreign languages are gifts we should apply to practice to explore the world :) As well as listening to other stories, I love to share my story. I'm interested in sports, healthy eating, traveling and foreign languages, dogs, running and marathons, interior design, art, history and books. Hahhaha, it's easier to count things I'm not interested in :) Well, it's smoking and drinking. Well, I can have a glass of wine, but I'm not into alcohol.
Currently I'm starting my YouTube channel and work on my subscription box startup.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
For me Couchsurfing is about cultural exchange. Even though I'm not that experienced traveling with Couchsurfing, I believe I'll have much positive experience. I don't know what could be better than sharing a story in English to a Swiss girl about my Italian holidays :) Couchsurfing makes the world wide open for everyone.
Another advantage is that my Couchsurfing friends and I can practice foreign languages. I speak English and French (a bit) and I'm not sure you'll want it, but I can speak to you in Russian or Ukrainian :)
Interests
There are three things I can exist, but cannot live without: books, travelling and people. Each of them is of great importance for me. I cannot put in words how important books are for me - this is number one to get information and to analyze it. Traveling is my second big passion, I don't know how to live without exploring the world. The last but not the least...people. Well, I think I should put it first. Everything I do is for people, everything I experience — I want to share it with people.
You know, they say "Happiness is only real when shared"
