Hi there, Im Julia, born, raised and at present living in Silesia, in South Poland. I'm currently studying Printmaking (art, graphics, painting etc.) on Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. These are my dream studies and I'm really happy that I can learn there. Art is not my only passion - I finished Music High School, by profession I'm a musician, playing saxophone, and really love it. I also truly love to photographing - I've been doing it since I was 14 years old. Im totally in love with analogue photography, and I would love to finish Photography studies in Opava someday.

I think I'm just easy-going, open-minded, empathic, outgoing, often cheerful and smiling person, but sometimes I like to cry a little. I love to exchange stories with interesting people of whole world, gain new experiences, talk about important or trivial things with a glass of wine, get to know and admire our wonderful world.

I just starting to travel, with my beloved boyfriend, but we were visited a few countries yet. Travelling is a bit addictive, and always when we came back home - we start to plan new expeditions right away.

CURRENT GOAL
travel to UK by hitchhike through Austria, Italy, Spain, France.

I love the idea of Couchsurfing, and I think this is the best way to meet and get to know foreign, new fantastic people. It's great to be able to help someone on the road, and to know that u can count on such help from someone.

兴趣

I'm totally impressed of Polish School of Poster, I think polish posterist are one of the best of the world.
If u don't know any, necessarily watch the work of Jan Lenica, Ryszard Kaja, Piotr Młodożeniec, Roman Kalarus, Rafał Olbiński, Henryk Tomaszewski. :-)

MUSIC
It usually depends on few things like season, weather, my own mood, etc, but:
totally in love with jazz, some jazz-crossovers (with good electro bits or smth); good electronic music, soul, rock, grunge, klezmer music, soundtracks, 80s and 90s music, cuban music, and for sure - classical music.

MOVIES
I have a lot of movies which I like, but I have also my faves like Leon, Blade Runner, Space Odyssey and Lion King:-) I trully love to watch all kind of movies.

BOOKS
ohhhh I love reading. Actually my fave writer is Olga Tokarczuk.

I can teach u some basics of playing saxophone and share my knowledge about music with you, also taking photographs or painting/drawing - these are the things I deal with every day. I think I can try to teach u how to cook some of polish dishes, or how to play cards (I know only 3 simple games :P ) I can also teach u how to use Photoshop, or other graphics programs, or how to work on pictures in them, and - for sure - some basics of my native language - Polish.

I will be happy to learn new language, some new regional dish and everything you can do, what u want me to learn.
