Overview
About Me
I come from a really small country in South America called Uruguay. Its population is 3.5m, and I live in the capital, Montevideo. In Uruguay, I've participated in a buddies program for my university, and that way I've met Erasmus students living in my country.
From august 2019 to January 2020, I will be living in Bilbao, Spain, on the Erasmus+ program. This is my first time living abroad, and I'm really excited about it.
Extremely extroverted, easy going, lover of movies, science, and stories. I can spend a whole night chit chatting about anything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My entire life I've dreamt about making friends all across the world. Here, with my Erasmus and especially on CS, I found the opportunity to make this happen in a massive way.

Music, Movies, and Books
Im as mainstream as I can be. I love the Harry Potter series, particularly the books. They were the first books that I consciously read, and since then I've never stopped being attached to them. The perks of being a wallflower is a book I particularly enjoyed on the time I read it. Other than that, I really enjoyed reading García Márquez's (a famous South American writer) books, such as El amor en los tiempos del cólera (Love in the Time of Cholera) and 100 años de soledad (One hundred years of solitude).
Regarding movies, I'd say my favorites by far are the Batman trilogy (Nolan's one), especially the second and third one.
About the music I listen to, one of my favorite bands is La Vela Puerca, probably the most famous band from Uruguay (and the one I'll probably make you listen to). Other than that, I enjoy other Uruguayan rock bands (such as NTVG, El cuarteto de Nos), and English pop in general.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love to discuss politics and feminism, two subjects that I'm really close to in my hometown. I'm extremely open minded, so I guess that makes me a great person to talk to regarding those or any other matter. I also love to talk about religion, even though I don't identify myself in any of them. Any other topic is available, there's no such thing as a tabu topic for me.
Even though I'm not the best cooker: in my country is extremely usual to bake or own foods always. So, I know how to cook the basic to medium Uruguayan recipes. I can cook chivitos, milanesas, tortas y empanadas (google them if you don't know what I'm talking about), and I bet that with those four things, you'll probably want to go to Uruguay ASAP.
