I'm a marine scientist working on a project for NOAA and the XPRIZE Foundation. Before this job, I took a year to backpack around the world, and before that, I was a coral reef scientist in Panama and Miami, FL. I love the ocean (of course) and the outdoors in general. I like cooking, eating, exploring, dancing (LOVE dancing!), sports, festivals, live music, Latin culture, beer/wine/rum, science, technology. For potential hosts: I've hosted for 8+ years, so I know what it's like to have guests. If you want to talk and share cultural stories, I'm game. If you are busy and just offering a place for me to crash, I will respect your time and space and independently tour the area. I always write references for my hosts.
