I am a french-canadian (québécoise) from the Metropole of Montreal. I am actually also half brazilian (hence my exotic looks lol). I love to connect with local people while travelling. I consider that it's the only way to do it right! I am very funny they say, and I am also respectful of people's cultures and privacy (part of what brought me to social work hehe). I believe in ''sharing is caring'' and I honestly have met some of the most amazing and like-minded people through this platform. This offers a really authentic and affordable way of travelling for passionate travelers like me. I have done couchsurfing in europe and Brazil before, I just did not have an account and was traveling with a friend (because I was also a bit of a dinosaure with technology but look at me now! lol)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

Aye aye aye... though ONE to answer cuz my life has been pretty blessed. I would say that my very first trip to Brazil as an adult (back to my roots) was one of the best life-changing-shaping experiences. I volunteered teaching french and english to disadvantaged youth in a region right next to the amazonian forest/border with bolivia. They have stolen my heart forever and I have decided to dedicate my career to working with youth.
