About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Engage in meaningful dialogue. Ask good questions. Assume nothing but to love others.

ABOUT ME

Someone wise once said, 'To have friends, you must first be friendly.' I believe it takes more than that. True friends will go out of their way to support you when you're shaky, steady you when you're uneven, and gallivant with you when it's high time for adventure.

I love to make new friends and connect familiar ones. I enjoy hearing others talk about how they view either the world at large or some niche aspect of society. I like nooks and crannies.

I am an ENTP. I like to either follow a noble leader, or lead noble leaders. I thrive when my community thrives.

I am a people-watcher. I think about information, how people use it, and how they communicate perhaps way too much. I am both a grammar fiend and an armchair neologist. I scrutinize the use of em dashes, semicolons, and pixels.

I don't like how dependent our society (rather, humankind) is upon the fabrication of labels. Buckets are helpful, but we must teach ourselves to climb out of them as often as necessary. Similarly, cognitive models are as helpful as they are hindrant. Speculating about people's behavior is a fun way to challenge easy assumptions.

Most importantly, I aim to maintain a balance of awareness and innocent naïveté, over-analysis and spontaneity.

To know, listen. To listen, open your mind. To open your mind, soften your heart. To soften your heart, hurt a little. You'll be okay.

PHILOSOPHY

Make space for yourself,
make space for others,
and others will make space for you.
