ABOUT ME

I love to experience new places. I've spent about 4 months total in Romania, a month in Nepal, 3 weeks in Thailand, and a few days in Budapest. I'm a music composition student; I love the process of creating music, investing myself in it, and hearing this monster I've created be performed. I'm a big sports fan (esp. baseball and basketball). I love good coffee, good music, good movies, and good books.

Music, Movies, and Books

I'm a music student, so obviously music is very important to me. I'm really into singer/songwriters and a lot of indie stuff right now, so I love Jeff Buckley, The National, Fleet Foxes, Dirty Projectors, Ray Lamontagne, Grizzly Bear, St. Vincent, Stars, etc. I also love classical music, so Debussy, Chopin, Schoenberg, Stravinsky, Bartok, Wagner, and many more have a special place in my heart.

I love movies too...Goodwill Hunting, Slumdog Millionaire, Bourne movies, Garden State, Up in the Air, The Reader, Crash, Hotel Rwanda, Little Miss Sunshine, Fight Club, Forrest Gump, etc.

I love books as well, but with school and work it's harder for me to find time to read what I want to read...I love Hemingway, Fitzgerald, Dostoevsky, Maugham, Hardy, etc.
