Overview
About Me
tl;dr
Pls be up-to-date on CoVID and relevant vaccines.
2 nites, 2 guests max, several ___host___ references.
This is an 15yo Son's home; you need to give me some confidence to invite you into our home. Also, the hours need to be sensible; weekends, later, but weeknites, reasonable.
Please tell me you've read the rules:
• Do NOT use my dishwasher. I was ultimately able to unclog it from last 'surfer.
• Please include, "frogs" in your request. Getting people requesting to stay a week.
• We occasionally let people stay longer than 2 days. Don't count on it.
ANNNND, in that ____7____ of the last 10 people requesting a place have all cancelled in last day or 2 before their stay:
• if you are a definite, "NO," I'll decline immediately.
• if you are a maybe, I'll wait until a day or two before to see where things are.

My Son and I welcome you to Pittsburgh!
We look forward to hosting max 2 host-referenced people for max 2 nites.
The "couch" is in our guest bedroom. MON-FRI I work at about 6a and sometimes when I'm on call during evenings and weekends.
CURRENT MISSION: Raising my Son!
ABOUT ME: going on 14 years in PGH. Lovin' it here. Great city!
PHILOSOPHY: "They can make me get older, but they can't make me grow up."
"Never too late to have a happy childhood."
============== What I ask of YOU ==================================================
- Please give me a couple days heads up! I may not get your message if its same day or even day before. I am hellish busy with raising my Son, an awesome job and maintaining our friendships.
- You need to have two (2) ___host___ references _minimum_ to be considered. And, then, only if we get warm fuzzies about you. Don't take personally; you want to come into my little Girl's home, her only respite.
I am a parent so very much more than I am a couch surfing host.
- You need to be two (2) people or less.
- You need to be two (2) nites or less.
- Your Plan A should be you doing things independently. We may be able to do stuff out and about with you.
- You should plan on using public transportation. I may be able to come and get you... or not. Bus or train station? Perhaps. Airport? Take the bus (28x) or a Lyft/Uber; it's really far away, and generally thru a bunch of traffic.
- You should plan on doing your own meals. We occasionally cook and will include you, but, frankly, most of our surfers have cooked wonderful meals for us.
Chez Budgie welcomes persons from all over the globe; we only ask that you consider that I am a single parent for a 15yo and will be cautious accordingly. I tend to have Dah Dah's nite out on Saturday nites, so it's unlikely we'd be able to host on those nites or nites when my Son has sleepovers.

What I Can Share with Hosts
HOUSE is in a state of chaos now, but we do have a guest room in which you can stay.
We are downsizing and there are boxes in the hallway, toys and clothes on their way to donation, and the dining room is 2/3 painted.
There is clutter, BUT, it's clean and safe.
AND, we have snacks!
