About Me
Hej!
Kjan here, I'm an air traffic controller living in my hometown Adana, travelling with any chance I can find. I enjoy meeting new people, learning about other cultures, trying amazing food and to challenge myself by doing things I haven't done before! It would be great to catch up with anyone in the CS community wherever that may be in the world!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I would love to meet fellow travellers and local people willing to accept me into their homes. As an aspiring backpacker and world traveller I would like to occasionally live with the local people and learn more about their country. I believe we can all learn and benefit from each other's knowledge and experiences, despite our language and cultural differences. It would be great while staying in a new country to have someone introduce me to their local area or city to see where I can find some of the 'off the beaten path' attractions and great local food!
Interests
It always starts with music, cooking and trying different cuisine, travelling (obviously), studying new languages, swimming, working out, chess (pretty solid bullet player), other board games, flags (would be so cool if you could bring me a teeny tiny flag of your country), ramen, anime, well actually anything related to japanese culture.

Music, Movies, and Books
I'm a huuuge fan of music and my playlists mostly includes alternative, indie, folk and psychedelic. Biggest fan of Richard Hawley and Sixto Rodriguez.
Admiring the books of John Steinbeck and Yusuf Atilgan and lately got into psychology books just for fun.
Akira Kurosawa will always be my favourite director and the next ones are probably Jim Jarmusch and Abbas Kiarostemi.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once flew to malta early in the morning and walked down to the center from the airport in about two hours, spent the whole day, then walked back to the airport and flew to toulouse at night. then I did the same routine in marrakech two days later hehe
