ABOUT ME

I am 42 year old, friendly, smiling and creative girl from Lapland :) I have been living here for 18 years, I wanted to move here because of nature. I love my hobbies: scouting, basketball, trekking in the nature, music, geocaching, sewing, puzzles and friends. And BOARDGAMES!!! I LOVE them! If you come to us, please play something with me :D

We have had break of couchsurfing because of covid but now we could do it again... I am sorry if I haven´t answered your messages, now I will make it again.

We have 2 lovely son and one princess (Saima 11/2014) , Otso is born in July 2008 and Aarni in March 2010.

If you are coming to us, please notice that you are coming in the middle of active familylife with three kids. So, we don´t have always much time to our guests, it depends on our and childrens hobbies and other things. But you are very welcome here and sure you will see real finnish life and maybe learn some finnish, because some of the kids don´t speak any other languages :D We love our guests and we would like to show to our kids, that there is life outside Lapland too. We love trekking, so we can tell much about possibities to hike here.

If you want to experience some extreme, we have little village called Villa Hilla in our yard, not heated :D
And you can sleep there with sleeping bag. But we have also bed for you here inside :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We can not travel much just now, but we have and have had many guest since year 2004. So, hosting is now more than surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been couple of times surfing (year 2005 interrail) and after it hosting very VERY much :) And good experiences!
