Born and raised in Colorado with awesome family and friends full of love and support. I have been embarking on life on a solo mission discovering my likes and dislikes; finding passions and career pursuits; establishing my "life mission". One thing I've learned for sure is that, I always remember most the times I have laughed the hardest. I love to write and am in pursuit of this being an influential aspect of my life both personally and financially. I hope to see and write about the world. To tell my kids of the great experiences and people I have encountered. Growing up in Colorado has left me a lover of the outdoors that is laid-back and appreciates a cold beer, homemade meal, and good conversation.

My heart is full of wonder and amazement with each experience I come across. I am a young woman learning everything I can through the places I go and the people I meet. And I am so thankful for this life I am building.

Two "cliche" statements that I resonate with. In my couple of decades on earth I have learned that experiences create the moments we remember; but when I reflect on those experiences, it is the people that accompanied me on that journey that bring life to the memory. I have also learned in my short couple of decades on earth, that money does not in fact grow on trees and traveling is not always easy on the bank account. SO if we can come together and host one another on our excursions while also being a person apart of the light of the memory, then that is a pretty awesome set-up...Thanks for the outlet Couchsurfing :)

I took a trip to Southeast Asia. I arrived on Koh Phangan, Thailand, a few days before the United State's was to celebrate the Christmas and New Years holiday. While the people I knew dove head first into a time of holiday festivities, I dove head first into a 10-day SILENT MEDITATION. Yes, 10 days of a friendly, chatty girl sitting in complete silence while meditating 8 hours a day in the humid, hot climate of a tropical island. I meditated all through the Christmas cheer and the excitement of ringing in the New Year. Sitting cross-legged on a hard floor trying to ignore the heat and ache of hunger in my stomach was honestly the coolest experience I have had thus far in my life journey.
