Hi there, my name is Kama. I come from Central Asia, from Kazakhstan. While studying political science, life took me on an unexpected journey — from working in oil and gas to Vienna, where I worked at the OPEC Fund on development projects with impact in poorer African countries. Later, I moved to Paris, where I worked with the OECD, organizing high-level ministerial environmental events focused on preventing climate change, and with UNESCO on an EU-funded project implementing the mandate on the ethics of AI. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have a purpose and a mission that drive me in life. Yet in my soul, I am an artist. I sing, compose, and write. I love art, literature, jazz, dancing, and la fête, as the French say — and life in general. Recently, I decided to step away from my professional path for a while to give myself the freedom to explore life differently. During this time, I traveled and finished writing my novel, which I hope will be published soon. P.S. I haven’t used Couchsurfing since the COVID period, so I’m happy to be back here
