About Me

ABOUT ME

I don't really like to talk about myself - I think I'm pretty ok, try not to be too pretentious and I enjoy simple things.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Don't have a couch yet (as I'm still living with parents), haven't really couchsurfed yet.

I'd like to see new places and experience new things, by myself with only a vague sense of direction or with someone guiding me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As stated above, pretty much none. But I'm eager to start surfing!

Interests

Music - I'm a little bit of a local/internet music journalist, I also recently started playing bass. Photography and visual arts - I like to take a photo or two, here and there, also used to draw and paint when I was younger.

Not being too stuck-up - I'm easily entertained by simple things, sports (or just fooling around), an occasional video game, or just getting drunk and becoming best friend with people I just met.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music - http://www.last.fm/user/kamionek this should give you a basic idea, but I like going to concerts more than listening to music at home. Indie rock, jazz, experimental, pop and electronic stuff, some Italian or Brazilian music, like a proper hipster.

Movies - I like Woody Allen, Paul Thomas Anderson, Roman Polański, British comedies, a lot of other things I just can't remember right now.

Books - Hemingway and Steinbeck, Tyrmand and Hłasko, modern Polish writers, non-fiction.
I also used to read a lot of comics (or graphic novels) back in the day.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I haven't seen the Grand Canyon or swum with the whales, but I once talked with my favorite pianist till 5 AM, talking absolute nonsense. His favorite geometrical shape is the trapezoid.

I can also bend my fingers in a way almost no other person can, but you'd have to see it yourself.

Countries I’ve Visited

Austria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, San Marino, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, United Kingdom, Vatican City State

Countries I’ve Lived In

Poland
