Overview
About Me
Curious soul. Empress of joy. Traveler of worlds.
I’m Kaoutar, a 33-year-old Moroccan explorer, currently living between Berlin and Marrakech, and wherever life pulls my heart next. I believe that human connection is sacred and that sharing space, food, laughter, and stories is what keeps the world humane, wild, and beautiful.
I'm a writer, a speaker, and a life alchemist in the making. Deeply spiritual, wildly creative, and forever seeking the magic in everyday life. I’m also into deep conversations, spontaneous adventures, dancing like no one’s watching, and sunbathing like a lioness. 🦁
Couchsurfing has been a huge part of my journey—I’ve hosted, I’ve surfed, and I’ve met souls I now call family. It’s not just travel for me, it’s home-making in every city I visit.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Because this is what makes travel meaningful.
Hotels can’t offer it. Hostels only scratch the surface. Couchsurfing, at its best, is a portal to real human exchange. I’ve met lifelong friends here—people who opened their homes, their kitchens, and their hearts. One of them became my godfather.
I’m here to keep that spirit alive: the joy of shared meals, late-night talks, learning from each other’s cultures, values, and dreams. It reminds me that people are still kind. It makes me believe in humanity again.
I went couchsurfing solo in the Netherlands when I was in my twenties… and met my late godfather, who became one of the most meaningful people in my life. I’ve had many adventures, but the real magic always came through human connection.
Interests
I live for depth, delight, and discovery. I love talking about things that matter—why we’re here, what makes a life meaningful, how we can heal and express ourselves more freely. I’m fascinated by consciousness, emotion, language, and how people transform.
I enjoy everything from hiking to healing, writing poetry under the sun, or dancing wildly at a Berlin rave. I can be quiet and introspective one day, and then burst into spontaneous joy the next.
Movies and storytelling are sacred to me—I love films that leave you thinking for days, or that simply make you feel seen. I also write and read constantly, with a soft spot for spiritual philosophy, personal growth, oneness, and anything poetic.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
At the age of 22, I co-organized a world music festival in the heart of the Moroccan desert. With nothing but an engineering background, a wild vision, and a deep love for music and culture, I brought together artists from around the world to share rhythm, spirit, and stories under the stars.
It was one of the most magical experiences of my life—proof that with passion, collaboration, and a bit of madness, you can create something unforgettable out of nothing.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you how to make amazing Moroccan mint tea, share French or Darija phrases, talk about spiritual healing, emotional intelligence, AI and consciousness, or help you with nervous system regulation or creative expression.
Learn: I’m always open to learning new recipes, your language, your worldview, your story. Teach me a dance from your country or your favorite joke.
Share: I bring good energy, deep presence, and nourishing conversations. I can cook, clean, share rituals, laugh with you, or just hold quiet space.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I offer more than a warm meal or a good story—I offer presence.
As a world citizen and an old soul, I travel with the intention to connect deeply, to listen, to witness, and to share humanness across cultures and moments. I believe that every encounter is sacred, and that there is medicine in conversation, silence, laughter, and shared rituals.
Whether it’s cooking a healing dish, sharing insights on life, love, or the universe, or simply holding space with sincerity, I bring warmth, curiosity, and a peaceful grounded energy into the homes I enter.
I respect space not just physically, but energetically. I clean up after myself, but I also strive to leave behind a trace of kindness, beauty, and connection.
