ABOUT ME
Hello, my name is Karel and I am a student, hoping to graduate soon. The lovely town of Gent is where I was born and where I grew up among family and friends. At the moment I am living in the city center of Brussels, a paradoxical city with many faces. Being here explains a part of my character: I like to challenge myself and seek the adventure in the things I do. Rarely I choose the easy way to accomplish something. I'm concerned with the world, but therefore in a constant search for positive vibes - some of which I get from music, going out, cycling, running, a good laugh, travelling,...

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Music, Movies, and Books
Ooow, where to begin? Maybe that could be a good topic to have a first conversation about. Something to break the ice, let's say.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I have been lucky that travelling has always been a much valuated activity in my family. Actually there are a few things I would mention here. I will always remember standing in front of the Golden Temple in Kyoto when I was 15. One year later, I crossed Corsica with a bagpack. This french island is so far the most beautiful place I've ever been.
Teach, Learn, Share
Since I'm a coach surfing beginner, I would add that the initiative reaches much further than this network. I've hosted and visited people I hardly knew, and actually, this has always been a very nice experience so far... I promise to update this part as soon as possible!!
