About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Take each day as it comes and figure out how I can still travel as much as possible

ABOUT ME

I live in Berlin with my 5 year old twin boys and lead a pretty hectic life as a working single mom during the daytime - and honestly a pretty boring one in the evenings once they're in bed.

I grew up in lots of places, so have a really mix and match kind of cultural identity and accent...
as an adult I tried to keep up the moving about and preferably spent most of my time travelling without much of a plan until my life changed with the twins... I still haven't quite figured out how to combine the care-free spontaneous travel I loved and lived with trying / needing / wanting (?) to be a super-organised and prepared-for-anything parent. Happy for any advice!

I like a good laugh, and am known to have a nasty sense of humor if I get the feeling you can take it ;)

While couchsurfing in the past, I was asked if I'd written on my profile somewhere that I'm vegetarian... didn't think it was so important myself as I don't expect to be fed and have never come across any serious finding food problems while travelling. Well, if you wanted to know - now you do.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To share experiences and contribute to making the world a friendlier, happier and more open minded place

In the past I met lovely/interesting/amazing/generous people, met unforgettable hospitality and kindness - and hosted a couple of great people too.

Interests

Music, Movies, and Books

I absolutely love Terry Pratchett and books that make me laugh out loud.
At the moment I'm more into fantasy books I can get lost in

I like movies that have lots of action, preferably a few deaths but no highly emotional drama

And music... I mainly like rock music, metal, a bit of ska & medieval tunes
