I'm Karolina, Polish sailor and traveler. I've used CS for years and I love it. 💓

At the moment I'm living in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. I'm working in the office where we deal with widely defined ecology and global environment.

I'm from Poland, Europe. I was born and grew up in Przemyśl but I moved to Kraków for almost 5 years to obtain my master degree in land surveying and cartography.

My passion is sailing and I'm a professional sailor and sailing instructor. I teach people how to sail and navigate sailing yachts, at the same I'm a captain for the tourists and pleasure boats ⛵ I'm happy to share with you our experience and tell you a bit more about sailing and life at the sea🌊 As I work around Europe, I can tell you a bit more about Poland or Europe if you would like to know ☺️

I have two moods in our life 🤔 Sometimes, it's really active. In my free time I look for some curious events and I enjoy trying new activities. I'm positive buddy who can't stay for a long time at the same place. I enjoy going out and getting to know new people. But sometimes it's more like a couch-potato, I'd like to spend all day in a bed, sleeping, watching series and eating unhealthy food. I think it's a kind of rest after too many activities 💪🏼

Personally, at the beginning I prefer calm meeting, sitting down and talking instead of going out to the party because there it's too difficult to hear anything 😅

Generally I used to travel more as a backpacker than exclusive tourist so I really like to meet new people, spend time with them and have a conversation about everything and nothing 😁

❗I don't use CS as a free Airbnb because it's not the idea of existing CS. It's a pleasure to share moments together with other Couchsurfers ❤️

When I host someone, I try to spend as much time as possible with my guests, showing and telling them what I know 😁

I love sailing, as mentioned before- that's my passion and work at the same time. What's more, I like hiking and just walking around, never mind if it's nature or city. But of course I prefer wild to urban spaces. Well, as I lived with South American people I enjoy Latin rhythms (like forro or sertanejo)🎶

Music: To be honest it's really difficult to choose one kind. I can listen to everything but it depends on the day , mood etc. 🎶 But the basic is rock, everything with guitar and drums 🎸🥁

Movies, books:
detective, crime, thriller, drama. Everything that has an enigma, a problem and needs solution🔎

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I sailed with my Father from Azories to Madera as a "yacht hitchhikier". On Madera I met charming people on CS with whom I went camping (or something similar if we look at our conditions 😅) on the top of the mountain. It was so funny and extreme experience 💓
