Hello! I’m Karolina and come from Poland. For the past ten years, I have lived in Scotland, Germany and Netherlands and recently moved back to my home town, Szczecin.

I love science, and studied chemistry at the University of Aberdeen. When I am not in the lab, you'll most likely find me hiking or somewhere in nature. I love exploring the world, meeting new people, sharing stories and experiences, and learning about different cultures.

I often travel solo and find couch surfing a great way to meet open-minded, kind and fun people who like to share stories and their passions.

兴趣

I love being active and spending my time outdoors, running or cycling. Hiking is my biggest passion and I'm the happiest in the mountains! Learning climbing and how to play squash this year :)

I'm interested in human psychology, yoga and meditation, like learning about human nature. Listen to a lot of podcasts but always welcome any new recommendations!

Huge fan of Xavier Dolan, Quentin Tarantino, Wes Anderson, Greta Gerwig movies.

Been listening to a lot of Polish rap and hip-hop recently. Pezet, Łona, Hozier, Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, London Grammar, Honne, Lianna la haves, alt-j, Lana del ray are just a few among many other artists I listen to. Fontaines DC is my latest obsession!

'Neverwhere' by Neil Gaiman is probably my favourite book recently, also read 'The Master and Margarita' three times and every time discovered something new about this book.

My favorite writers are Lisa Taddeo, Gabrielle Zevin, Nino Haratischwili, Joanna Bator, Sally Rooney, Dolly Alderton, Wieslaw Mysliwski, Dostoyewski, King and Haruki Murakami.
