UPDATE (May 2025): I have moved to an apartment bear my university campus, which is about 50km away from the city. I am still happy to host, if you would like to spend a quiet weekend in a rural area. (Will post photos soon) xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I teach at a university on the outskirts of the city. I'm a political economist by training, which means that I spend a lot of time thinking about society, social change, and economic development. If you ever visit my apartment, my library of non-fiction books will be the first thing you notice. Outside of my academic interests, I am an amateur Hindustani vocalist. I always keep myself updated on current affairs, and very recently I've gotten interested in the world of finance as well. I've been putting in effort to lead a more active lifestyle. I love dogs and volunteer to care for the street dogs in my neighborhood. I love traveling, especially solo trips. In the past few years, I've been to Nasik and Ajanta/Ellora in MH, Girnar and Champaner in GJ, Gingee in TN, Mahabs and Pondicherry, and Chitradurga in Karnataka. I especially like visiting old forts, temples and other historical structures. I have also learned to appreciate driving around in my hatchback, though I prefer a ride on my gearless bicycle any day over a car ride.
