We are young Polish marriage, We are around 30. We are both vegetarians, hitch-hikers and cyclists, who are travelling as much as we can, and who would love to travel all over the world! There is so many people to meet, so many stories to hear and tell, so many things to see and touch, so many food to taste!
Our story began in 2008, when we met. This year we done the most magical and unforgettable for whole life hitch-hiking trip through whole Europe, Turkey and Iran. The people we met and stories which happened made us believe that everything is possible, magic is real, and - people are good! We fallen in love with Iranian hospitality and friendliness, as well as with each person who gave us a lift and made our trip possible, gave us a shelter or helped us in any other way and made our trip magnificent!
Next two years we spent in Poland living together in Wroclaw, but we done a few smaller European hitch-hiking, and not only hitch-hiking trips. During this time we've been in Netherlands, Ukraine, Sweden, Portugal and we hitch-hiked in the winter to Moldova, through Slovakia, Hungary and Romania.
After that, we decided to get married! Polish marriage ceremony isn't really our favourite, so we did it in India! Again we hitch-hiked through whole eastern Europe and Turkey to after 5 days and spending 1$ during that, reach Tbilisi in Georgia! Then we hitch-hiked through Georgia, Armenia and Iran to Shiraz, from where we took a flight to Delhi. We avoided travelling through Pakistan because of very dangerous situation in there during this time. We spent 5 weeks in north India, 2 weeks in Nepal and finally we got married by 3. September 2010 in Delhi!:)
In next year we flew to Morocco. Unfortunately that was our worst trip we ever made. Half of our trip we were sick and second wasn't what we really would like to. In the summer we decided to not go out of Europe this time, not even out of our country. We wanted to get to know closer Poland this time! We hitch-hiked around east part of Poland. We visited famous Cracow, in Bieszczady we were hiking through mountains, in Warsaw we explored vegetarian Asian restaurants, in Mazury we sailed for a week and completed our trip in beautiful Torun.
In beginning of 2012 we left to work in Scotland, to earn some money for our travels. We were working hard to the end of the year in one of the best hotel in Scottish Highlands. But... not for all the time! We had a one month holidays, which we used for trying to change our bad memories about Morocco. And we did it! We hitch-hiked around south part of Morocco. We followed Atlantic Coast from El-Jadida to Sidi Ifni, we struggled with lowest traffic we ever experienced in Anti-Atlas mountains and finally - we touched the sand of Moroccan Sahara!
As we felt like a bit experienced hitch-hikers, we wanted to try something new!
Very spontaneously we bought the bikes and we flew with them to Thailand for two months. We had no experience at all, we had no knowledge about bikes at all (we actually still don't) and we never cycled over 100km before... we cycled all the way from Bangkok to the very north Laos, we passed Laotian mountains to reach Vientiane, and then we came back through very east Thailand back to Bangkok. We did it - and it was lovely!
We fell in love with cycling, as well as we fell in love with south-east Asia!
We came back to Scotland, we were working hard again for a half year to the end of the season and then we came back to SE Asia... we cycled through Thailand again (oh, how much we love Thailand!), Cambodia, Malaysia and Singapore. We made 5600km in 4 months, with 600 in first and 5000 in next three :P
Another few months in Scotland and we are in Poland now for a while... we are in Trzebnica, nice little town next to Wroclaw, about 45 minutes train ride (you can take your bike onboard) from Wroclaw city center or about 1 hour bike ride:) If you are around feel free to drop us a message!
