About Me

UPDATE JULY 2017: (and not single anymore but still funny :))))
"I settled down in Cebu, in the Philippines where I am working and found myself a very sweet local girlfriend. We are going on our first trip outside the country and she is very excited about trying CS and hopefully we will find some sweet hosts in Hong Kong :))"

After Couchsurfing at the CS member Pinky Lagrada I fell in love and now we live together in Cebu, Philippines.

From my single life:
Even though I have never hosted and only surfed I NEVER LOOK FOR A FREE HOTEL!!!!

I love to talk and discuss different subjects. Whenever a person is talking passionately everything can be interesting. I would rather talk about things that really matter than small talk. Small talk is fine but it gets boring if that is all there is....
There are so many important issues and every person has a unique story to tell and I wanna here it all and debate the bigger issues in life :-)
I also like just hanging out and being silly and doing nothing a whole day! Especially after a night with to much alcohol :-)
I´m a very social individual and is allways looking after new adventures and crazy stuff - bring it on!!
I am told that I am easygoing and easily fit in most places.

To save our planet we don´t need "more brain" we need "more heart"!!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I often travel alone and when I discovered CS summer 2015 it really fulled out a gap I did not know excisted in my traveling...I had been trying to meet locals and in some extend succeeded but when I met the special breed of CS people my traveling just rose to another level.
I love the concept and really feel I become a better person and are truly enlightened whenever I met new people from different countries and cultures. Most people I have met on CS have put a long lasting impression on my soul.

overall I just really like to meet new people, discover new cultures and expanding my horizon through interculturel talks and discussions with interesting and open minded people.

Music, Movies, and Books

Pulp fiction, The Usual Suspects, Dude where´s my car, Fawlty Towers, Yes Minister, Blackadder, Will and Grace and lots of others film and series - thrillers, documentary and social realism...
I like the Danish author Leif Davidsen who wrote "The Russian Trilogy"
The Swedish author Jan Guillou who wrote a fantastic books about; Templar Nigths, The medieval crusades, the christianity of Northern Europe and witch burnings
And I like "The Lords of the Rings" trilogy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have started up a youth organization for young mentally ill and mentally vulnerable persons and I know it has giving many young people a second chance in life :-)

I arrived to Kathmandu, Nepal two days after the earthquake in April 2015 and instead of my planned hiking trip I made my own relief project. I drove around on my off road motorbike and went to the tent camps and the small villages in the Kathamdu valley and to a couple og remote areas in the montains. My mission was to put smiles on peoples faces. I played with children, had small english teaching sessions ang gave away footballs and other toys , pen and paper to pratice their English skills. It was an "out of this world experience" for me :-)

Despite of almost everybody telling me not to I traveled to Haiti in 2016. Haiti is a very troubled country and you can almost feel a constant tension because of the poverty, the political violence and of course not seeing their country getting the proper help after the earthquake. I had a great time in Cap-Haitien, Port au Prince and a short trip to Jacmel. I met fantastic people and I even got to see Cite Soleil first hand.

I visited mental hospitals both in Ukraine and Nepal and that both was quite an experience.
