About Me

Hey! I’m a New Year’s baby 🎉 born in the U.S. with Honduran and Mexican roots. I studied English Literature with a focus on Creative Writing, plus Journalism and TESOL — so storytelling and languages are a big part of who I am.

When I’m not reading or writing, you’ll probably find me on a soccer field, hiking trail, or camping somewhere beautiful. I love connecting with people from all walks of life, hearing their stories, and sharing a few of my own over good food or a long walk.

My friends say I’m honest, grounded, and open-hearted. I believe in kindness without expectations and that every person brings something unique to the table. I’m not driven by drama or ego — just curiosity, respect, and genuine connection.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to encounter people with diverse backgrounds to share and celebrate cultural differences with.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like to listen to all types of music, but I mainly enjoy rock, alternative and indie.

I love psychological thrillers (the harder they make me think the better).

As for books, I enjoy anywhere from dark stories to poetry. My favorite authors include: Geoffrey Chaucer, John Milton, Dante Alighieri, Sir Walter Raleigh, John Keats, William Shakespeare, H.P. Lovecraft, Edgar Allen Poe, Leo Tolstoy and Vladimir Nabokov.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One amazing thing I’ve done was help organize free community events for children and families in low-income neighborhoods through the Performing Arts Club in Culver City. My favorite was a Christmas celebration with cookie-decorating, coloring tables, a Santa meet-and-greet, and gift-giving — seeing the kids’ faces light up was unforgettable.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you as much as you’d like to learn — whether it’s writing poetry or fiction, cooking, dancing, having an open-minded debate, or even building a shed!

I love learning just as much as teaching. To me, it’s all about exchange — giving and taking, sharing and growing together.

Most of all, I want to share stories, laughter, and experiences that remind us how much we all have in common, no matter where we come from.
