Hi everyone!

I'm Kasia, 26 years old.
Currently based in Warsaw, doing my neurology residency here. I have recently moved out from Zakopane so could recommend you a lot to do there! If you are here for longer and are into hiking/scrambling/climbing, maybe we could arrange something!

The door is always open for you but not everyday I am able to offer you as much of me and my time as I would love to.

I love polish rock music, 70-80s as well as some indie. I try to play many instruments, but I am not a master of any. We can laugh together at my skills and do some jamming. I am in love with Sub-saharian Africa culture - their extravertism, breaking the ice with strangers, strong feeling as a society and no paperwork life.

While travelling, I am trying to get to the locals' everyday lives as much as it is possible without invading a private space. Therefore I would be happy to hear about your culture, perspectives, differences and similarities. It is important for me to make you comfortable in our country, our city, my place. I believe in a possibility of understanding everyone's point of view even if it is much different than ours, unless it is harmful.

PS I am not so good at expressing joy, especially when I am before my morning coffee; no worries, i'm having fun!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Since I chose long studies, I was not able to organize expensive travels so I have always tried to reduce the costs by choosing couchsurfing. I wanted to make the best of this wonderful time of studies and see as much of the world as possible. Although studying is gone and I got a job, CS stayed as the way of getting to know other cultures and I would never replace it with hotels. And it is always a surprise. I love surprises.

Actually I find it too difficult to concentrate on movies and books. That is not a topic for me!

What I Can Share with Hosts

I believe couchsurfing is about being the host together. When you are in my flat, I will try to welcome you as a special guest but I would also love you to feel as it is your home. When I am the guest, I am trying not to get much effort from your side as giving your place is already a big reward. From my side, let it be a surprise - I need to get to know you better to decide!
