ABOUT ME

I'm passionate about life and everything it has to offer. I'm an adrenaline junkie and love meeting people who are stoked about life as well. I'm a huge advocate for social change and truly believe in people. I finished school at ASU and took off, then after road tripping it throughout the western US I moved back to phoenix a year ago and love every minute of it. I Spend my time performing poetry and theatre, working on my career, working at the Phoenix Hostel and Cultural Center, hiking in the mountains, and taking deeper breaths. Now I'm headed out to travel in Mexico and experience new sights, sounds, and conversations.

PHILOSOPHY

When two violins are placed in a room, if a chord on one violin is struck the other violin will sound that note. We are that powerful.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Started CS in 2009 when I studied in Argentina and realized how awesome it is to be a part of a community that embraces one another and shares so many great experiences. Can't wait to keep it up and get more involved.

兴趣

Theatre and slam poetry--Its who I am, the way I think, and the easiest way for me to express. Hiking, snowboarding, cliff jumping, and rock climbing--not an expert at any, but can't escape the feeling of wanting to hug the sky from a mountain top. Good food and craft beer--Just too good mmmm.Family--The joy of playing Just Dance II on wii with my 2 neices and older sister... and always losing to a 9 year old girl... priceless.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The little ordinary things are what strike me as the most remarkable. In Thailand on my way down from a hike with my sister we came across three little kids jumping off the cement block into this pond on the mointain and they were all speaking thai and laughing and daring eachother to do different little tricks. It was ordinary for them but to witness such a joyful moment in a foriegn place for me was amazing. But... the other stuff is cool too! Like paragliding in Argentina, getting stung by stingray in Mexico, or doing a ropes course on Ko Phangan Thailand.
