I am 34. I love to travel. It all started in New Zealand. I went there in 2010 and I had the most amazing year of my life. In 2012 I went to Australia - the highlight of my time there was working on a cattle station in the outback for 5 months. After graduating in 2016 I took the huge leap of faith and started living in Colombia without speaking the tiniest bit of Spanish.

I have met soulmates along the way and traveling changed me forever. I hope we will share our stories.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I host I like the idea of a piece of the world coming into my house with you.

When I travel I like being with a local who can tell me about/show me cool spots and help me out with questions I might have. It's more personal than a ho(s)tel and if we're lucky, we're at the start of a great friendship. Who knows?

I want to give back what I have received. I want to build friendships around the globe and keep learning.

Interests

I love to get lost in a good book, I write my own stories on my blog, take pictures of places and people and I like music. A lot. I'm a crafty sort of person, energetic at times but I also love to sit/lie around and talk or be silent. I love being outside and breathing in deeply, it helps me to wind down and realise how beautiful the world is.

I like to cook and bake, drink tea and white wine. Summer is my favourite season but I'm getting to like the others, too. Traveling really changed my life and therefor is the big love of it.

I need to connect with a MOVIE on an emotional level, whether it makes me laugh or cry, teaches me something or makes me desire to learn something.

As for MUSIC I'm really an "all sorts" kind of person, depending on my mood and the occasion.

BOOKS are my other passion beside traveling as mentioned before. Here some of my favourites:
