Originally from Germany, but have been living abroad (including in Japan, Belgium, South Sudan and Jordan) for the past 8 years. Currently, I live in the US. I love traveling, learning about other cultures and meeting people from all over the world, so I have used Couchsurfing quite a bit throughout the years. Looking forward to many more trips!

Until now I only surfed and enjoyed making new friends and visiting new places.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I surfed a few times in Germany, the USA, Indonesia, Peru, Taiwan, South Korea and Sudan, met reeeaaally nice people there and had some great conversations. So, I would love to surf again and also host once my living situation permits! :)

Interests

Travelling :), but also cooking and eating, reading, writing, music, video games, going to concerts or the theater, but always up for new experiences! Couchsurfing is not a free hotel but an opportunity to exchange views and cultures. Music, Movies, and Books

Books: mostly political and historical stuff. Occasional classic fiction, currently having a soft spot for dystopia.

Music: I love Heavy Metal and have a big CD collection. But don't be afraid, you don't have to listen to it with me - unless you want to ;)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Trekking mountain gorillas in DRC - still one of the best traveling experiences I ever had!
