ABOUT ME

Hello everyone. I decided that it was time to stop wasting money on hostels and guest houses and time to start meeting people from the community that I've travelled to. I plan to try and couch surf my way around Australia and Japan.

For this big trip of mine, I have been travelling since January and have been to India, Nepal, China, Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore and now Australia. I've had the best time of my life, but the money is now getting very tight just as I'm reaching the two most expensive countries of the trip (i.e. Oz and Japan). That's why I need your couch to borrow please!!!

So, a few things you should know about me - I'm easy going and laid back, love quiet nights in with a movie and wine as much as big nights out, I'm a vegetarian, and at home I teach primary school children, around 6-7 years old.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

So far, I couldn't have asked more from my couchsurfing experience. What a wonderful idea, I just wish I'd started couchsurfing sooner!

Intereses

I'm interested in doing as much with my travelling time as possible - sight seeing, meeting local people and hanging out with them, enjoying local food and drink (as well as pizzas and beers of course), and just getting involved with whatever sounds like fun!

Música, películas y libros

I love reading, but have been so busy with my travels I haven't been able to read many books this year. If only I didn't get travel sick by reading on buses... I just finished reading The Life of Pi, A Thousand Splendid Suns and The Five People You Meet In Heaven, all of which I enjoyed.

I love going to the movies and watching DVDs, anything from rom-coms to action to horror, I'm not fussy! Just don't make me watch The Ring again, that film gave me some serious insomnia for a week afterwards, so scary!

Algo increíble que he hecho

I've seen so many amazing things this year it's hard to pinpoint one. However, one thing that particuarly blew my mind was the Taj Mahal.

Enseña, aprende, comparte

I'm a teacher at home, and have volunteered in two orphanages and taught English to the kids there (in Nepal and Cambodia) since I've been travelling.
