Overview
About Me
I’m a fun-loving, nature- and animal-loving person who’s passionate about dancing, adventures, and music. These days I’m mostly dancing Bachata and West Coast Swing — I just love how much joy and connection dancing can bring.
I enjoy spending time outdoors, with my friends, family, and our family dog. I’m always curious about learning more about different places, cultures, perspectives, and ideas.
I’m also deeply interested in sustainability, the transformation of our built environment, and how we can design the cities of the future — both ecologically and socially. Topics like the energy transition, sustainable architecture, and social structures really fascinate me. It’s not just part of my studies and work, but also something I love talking and learning about in my free time.
After some time abroad during my exchange semester in Indonesia, I realized how much I love my hometown Berlin — and I’m still discovering new corners of it all the time (wow, hard to believe that’s almost ten years ago already!).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think staying at someone’s home makes a trip so much more memorable. When I get to know locals, I can see a place from a completely different perspective and learn about everyday life in a way no travel guide could ever show me.
Since I study architecture, I’m also really interested in what “home” means to different people — how they create it, and what makes them feel comfortable and grounded. Couchsurfing gives me a beautiful opportunity to experience that, and I believe it’s a kind of learning that no university can teach.
When I’m not traveling myself, hosting is a great way to bring a bit of that adventurous spirit into my everyday life — to meet people from around the world and share a small piece of their journeys.

Music, Movies, and Books
At the moment, my favorite musician is OSKA from Austria — she has such an amazing voice and a beautiful personality. Her live performances always give me goosebumps!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
During my exchange semester in Bali, I once took a very long bus trip to a small island with almost no tourists. My Indonesian was maybe five words, and the people on the bus spoke about the same amount of English — but somehow, by the time I arrived, everyone knew where I was going, gave me advice, told me when to get off, wrote down useful phrases, drew maps, and even helped plan my next week better than I ever could have!
It was such a beautiful reminder of kindness — and of how most people are genuinely good, curious, and willing to help if you just open up and connect. I’ll never forget that experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
love exchanging ideas and learning about different places, cultures, and perspectives — especially around topics like sustainability, architecture, and how we can shape the cities of the future.
I’m always happy to share my love for dancing (Bachata, Salsa, West Coast Swing), good food, and time in nature.
And if you’re traveling with your pet (probably a dog?), you’ve got an especially good chance that I’ll invite you to stay with us — I’m a big animal lover and always happy to have furry guests around! 🐶💛
What I Can Share with Hosts
When I’m not too busy with work, I sometimes invite guests to join activities with my friends — having dinner together, going for a trip to a lake, or checking out the best Bachata parties.
If you like dogs, you might also get to meet our family dog from time to time! :)
I don’t really live the “typical Berlin lifestyle” — no raves, techno parties, or heavy drinking (I don’t even like beer or crowded places). So I might not be your best insider guide for that scene ;)
Where we live, it’s calm and green, yet still quick and easy to reach the city center. You’re more likely to meet foxes or squirrels here than party people!
