About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To keep on traveling, to all the corners of the world and any countries I still haven’t made it to.
ABOUT ME
I made a goal to visit 200 countries before I was 30, which I completed in 2017 in Mauritius! Now it’s somewhere over 225 but that depends on how you count 😁 I'm wandering through life as a seasonal tour guide, so I travel for work and work to travel. I love to share stories from my adventures, so check out nomadiccosmopolitan.com if you'd like to hear some or my instagram @nomadic_cosmopolitan if you’d like to see pictures.
Besides leading trips, I´m also a yoga teacher, a dancer (sass & tango), a (horseback) rider, a writer, a wino, a foodie, a musician (piano mainly), a philosopher, an environmentalist, an anthropologist, and always a traveler. My life philosophy is carpe diem and stay in the present.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to meet and travel with as many different people around the world to enhance each experience... nothing beats a local to show you around! Learning about other people’s perspectives and life philosophies is truly the best education.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
i had a couple people surf me and my roommates house in Vancouver, BC and lots of couch surfers my couch in Reykjavik; Ive met some great people this way. Ive surfed in Faroe Islands, Sweden, Denmark, Holland, Germany, the Irelands, England, the Isle of Man, Spain, Lithuania, Croatia, Argentina, Brasil, Uruguay, Paraguay, Canada, Iceland, the USA, Germany, Colombia, Venezuela, Peru, Nicaragua, Granada, Mexico, India, Bangladesh, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran and other places in the Middle East, East Africa, West Africa, Morocco, Greece, Cyprus, a lot of cities in Italy, many of the Eastern Caribbean Islands, Madeira and the Azores Islands in the Atlantic, South Pacific countries, in Melanesia and Micronesia, and Taiwan. I have introduced many of my friends and travellers I´ve met along the way to couchsurfing, convincing them to make profiles, host and surf. I hope to spread the CS message loud and clear as I keep traveling to meet like minded people :)

Teach, Learn, Share
i am a great travel guide for reykjavik and Iceland! and if your into arts and culture, i can tell you about all the best museums and exhibits. if your interested in outdoorsy stuff, Ive been all over the highlands and wilderness areas in Iceland trekking, riding and camping. And if you just want to have a good time, I live right in the city center walking distance to Laugavegur, the main shopping and nightlife street. I know all the best spots to eat for both traditional food, popular street food and fine dining. I also love wine and can recommend you great places to have a drink or for happy hour! I also teach yoga and am happy to share some time on the mat together, and can do my best to show you a little salsa or tango dancing if you’d like.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I love cooking, dancing, and horse back riding equally, so if you like a good kitchen, some dance shoes or a pony, I´m your lady!
