I’m on Couchsurfing because I genuinely enjoy connecting with people from all walks of life. I believe that every person has something valuable to share—whether it’s a story, a perspective, a tradition, or just a good laugh. For me, meeting new people is one of the most enriching parts of life. It opens my mind, challenges my views, and helps me grow as a person.

Coming from a Kurdish background, I’ve always been surrounded by strong community values and warm hospitality, and Couchsurfing feels like a global extension of that spirit. Music: I enjoy listening to a mix of emotional and meaningful songs. Some of my favorites include “Father and Son” and “Morning Has Broken” by Cat Stevens (Yusuf Islam), as well as music by Passenger. I also have a deep love for traditional Kurdish music, which always reminds me of home and my roots.

Books: I have to admit, I haven’t been the most dedicated reader lately—I tend to be a bit lazy when it comes to books. But I’m hoping to change that and slowly get into the habit of reading more.

Teach: I have a strong passion for teaching, especially when it comes to languages. I enjoy helping others learn and grow, and there’s something incredibly rewarding about seeing someone understand something new because of your guidance.

Share: One thing I love to share is my mother’s incredible cooking. Her dishes are full of flavor, love, and tradition. If you ever visit, you definitely won’t go hungry—there’s always something delicious on the table!
