Hi world, one very optimistic guy is here. I'm Kazutoshi who loves to meet new people from the different cultures, go somewhere by bicycle with no purpose. I live with my partner Lief(https://www.couchsurfing.com/users/3704819?utm_campaign=profile_share&utm_source=couchsurfing-ios).

As a personal preference based on multiple experiences of mine in CouchSurfing community, there are 3 types of surfers that I refure to host. Please don't send me a request if you are:
- A man who only/mostly hosted women before.
- A woman who supports the man mentioned above.( yes, I will go to your former host profiles to see what kind of users they have hosted.)
- A gay man who hosted only men before.

Lief and I have spent the last three years working(and traveling) in Australia and New Zealand. Lief worked as an engineer and I worked in hospitality. We love to travel with no plans and to be open to the adventure that awaits us.

I am from Kushiro, Hokkaido, Japan and moved to Vancouver, Canada to be close to my partner. Due to Covid, I returned to Japan until we moved to Australia.
Lief is 33 and was born in Exeter, New Hampshire USA working as a civil engineer. He moved to Seattle where he worked until moving to Australia.

We want to experience the country and its culture, not take photos for social media.
Now we are residents of New Zealand.

I love playing board games! Since I live with only my partner, I rarely play board games with only him. The more players we have the more likely it is that we have fun playing them.

I don't know I've done something amazing. But some of good experiences of mine are a hitchhiking trip from the north to the south of Japan and another hitchhiking trip from Spain to Romania.
