ABOUT ME

We are retired primary school teachers. We like to grow our own fruit and vegetables. We have four wonderful adult children and five very lovable grandchildren, two of whom live very near.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
We enjoy hosting travellers when we are at home in rural Australia.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
We have stayed with many kind and interesting couch surfing hosts while travelling overseas on several occasions.
We host couchsurfers from time to time, but not constantly.

Interests

Christine loves history, reading, chatting with friends, gardening, travelling and family.
Keith likes gardening, astronomy, table tennis, listening to audio books and radio, especially science and current affairs programs.
We are interested in environmental and political issues.
We love spending time with our adult children and our grandchildren.

Music, Movies, and Books

We enjoy movies when we have time. We usually like thought provoking movies that enable us to discuss issues and which keep us thinking for days after. We don't normally watch horror movies or very violent films.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Having children and sharing their development to adults.
Backpacking for 12 months in 2008.
Seeing platypuses in our local river.
Viewing the fantastic Comet McNaught in January 2007.

Teach, Learn, Share

We are interested in improving our French and Spanish language skills.
We are happy to help guests to improve their English language skills.
