Why I'm on Couchsurfing
My daughter travelled two years ago around New Zealand couchsurfing. She enjoyed it a lot and persuaded me that it would be a good idea to accept guests at home. I love to travel but I can't travel as much as I would like to. Having guests at home from around the world is an other way to travel. Since my three children, now students, have left home, I have available rooms at home.
Music, Movies, and Books
I decided to choose only one music, one movie and one book among those that I loved : Franz Schubert : Piano sonata in A Major ; Sidney Lumet : Running on empty ; Irvin Yalom : the Spinoza Problem.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I spent summer holidays in an isolated island in the North of the Netherlands (rain, wind, storm, icy sea...) and... enjoyed it ! I surfed this summer in Hungary, Austria and Poland and it was great.
