Hi! I'm Kelsey - 32yo woman originally from the US and currently living in London for a year for an MPH program. I love to travel, explore, dance, hike, bike, read and meet new people. I have not couch surfed since then but I'm very eager to start again. I did the peace corps in madagascar 2015-2017 and have been living in Baltimore, MD, USA ever since pursuing my medical degree. I'm looking forward to having more time to travel throughout the UK/europe this upcoming year and hoping to connect with others through travel/couch surfing!

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
I love connecting with people in new places in a down-to-earth, local and friendly way. Travel is as much about seeing new places as it is about meeting new people and learning new perspectives for me. Also, as a graduate student, couchsurfing definitely helps with costs!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love most types of music - I'm a lyrics person so it doesn't always matter the style of music, if I feel connected to the words I'm likely to enjoy the song I mostly read nonfiction but try to throw in some fiction in there every now and again - love anything related to lgbtqia+ topics, feminism, memoirs, race, mental health, things going on around the world, public health, etc. Love documentaries, short series based on real-life events, rom-coms, comedies, deep/dark/sad themes
