Overview
About Me
Hey there! 👋 I'm Kelvin Muthomi from Embu, Kenya 🇰🇪. I’m a friendly, curious, and open-minded guy who loves meeting people from all walks of life. I work as a freelancer, tour guide, digital skills trainer, and content creator — and I’m passionate about nature, culture, and global connections.
When I’m not working online or guiding tourists through Kenya’s beautiful parks and landscapes, I’m probably sharing stories, learning something new, or exploring creative ideas. I believe in good vibes, deep conversations, laughter, and mutual respect.
I joined Couchsurfing to make genuine friendships, connect with global minds, and learn more about how people live, think, and dream around the world 🌍
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I’m here to build genuine friendships, learn from different cultures, and connect with kind, open-minded people from around the world. I love meaningful conversations, cultural exchange, and exploring new perspectives.
Couchsurfing gives me a chance to share my Kenyan roots, learn how others live, and be part of a global community that believes in kindness, curiosity, and adventure — even if we’re miles apart.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I once led a group of tourists on a spontaneous hike deep into the forests near Camp Ndunda Falls, and we unexpectedly spotted a rare bird species only seen once a year! 🌿🦜 The excitement, the bonding, and the connection with nature made it one of the most magical and unforgettable moments of my life.
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I can teach you some Swahili or Sheng (Kenyan street slang), share digital skills like freelancing, transcription, social media, and online work tips. I also know a lot about Kenyan culture, wildlife, and eco-tourism — happy to talk all day about that!
Learn: I’m always curious to learn new languages, tech skills, cultures, and life philosophies. I’d love to learn how people live in other countries, how they think, what they eat, and what brings them joy.
Share: I can share stories from my travel and tour guide experiences, music and food from Kenya, and even help you plan an unforgettable visit to East Africa. I believe in good vibes, mutual respect, and sharing laughs and lessons over great conversation.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my culture, stories from life in Kenya, and lots of positive energy! I love great conversations — whether it's about travel, wildlife, music, or how to make money online. I can also cook a simple Kenyan meal if you’re curious to try something new 🇰🇪🍛
If you're interested in digital skills or freelancing, I’d be happy to share tips or even help you set up your online work profiles. I believe in sharing time, knowledge, and laughter — and leaving behind good memories and good vibes.
