Why I'm on Couchsurfing
The bright side of a tragic divorce means that I can travel and see the world. Although the woman to whom I gave my youth is no longer a part of my life, I'M NOT DEAD YET. I therefore refuse to not act as young as I feel. So if the accumulated years I've acquired turn you off, that is your problem. I put my life on hold for too long and have a good deal of traveling/living to do to make up for the time spent catering to a home body. And I'll bet you $100 that you'll have more fun with me than any two friends your own age.
Music, Movies, and Books
The Dead Poet Society, The Fountainhead, Atlas Shrugged.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
I proposed to my now ex-wife on Valentine's Day on top of the Empire State Building with a ring from Tiffany's. I've stood naked at the summit of Mount Timpanogos. I've stood inside Petra's Monastery I've survived two high speed roll-over accidents without a single broken bone. I've lived in a 25,000 square foot home. I moved 17 non-military times by the time I graduated from high school. I've seen Valencia's Fallas.
Teach, Learn, Share
I country dance, I have an MBA degree, I own a business, I know how to position and sell products, I can sell ice to eskimos, I lived two years in Spain, and speak Spanish, I wood work, weld, blacksmith, play the guitar, sing, write music and poetry, paint, and maintain hopelessly romantic notions of love in spite of my past relationship disasters.
