CURRENT MISSION To explore various locales from the north western to midwestern u.s. Eat them foods, see them sights, screw them queers. ABOUT ME We're traveling to find America. No, wait... We're traveling to find ourselves. No, wait... We're not sure why we're traveling, but fuck it, we are traveling. Aram: My passions are struck by community organizing and mutual support. I'd love to meet up with people who are actively engaged in themselves, their community, and their surroundings. I want to share my time and space with you. More than your couch, I want you in conversation. It would be wonderful to meet people struggling to live free of consumerism. I wish to visit the local community, not the marketplace. I'm traveling to meet people. L.: I'm a feminist anti-racist anarcho-marxist dyke who's decided to expand her horizons beyond California and who's not afraid of a few hyphens. I'm very interested in seeing how people build and maintain their various communities, those of resistance or of post-families or of their neighbors or otherwise. I also want to walk/dig/run/crawl through other cityscapes and townscapes and hamletscapes to try to make meaningful connections with those spaces, better to understand the multitude of peoples they cradle, and better to know those that would like to get to know me. PHILOSOPHY L.: What? Like, a slogan? If you come to a fork in the road, pick it up. Aram: Live for the day. Roll in the hay.

Why I'm on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE L.: I've never couchsurfed before, and never had a profile before now. However, I have lived at Zami! Co-op, which has housed a very good number of couchsurfers, all instances of which I recall as good experiences. A few of those people have forged friendships with fellow co-opers and still come around, much to my appreciation. Aram: My profile is new and my experience as a coucsurfer is limited to homes I already have a pre-existing friendship with. As a host, however, couchsurfers have been a big part of my life these past couple years. Having people plop into my life for a few days down to kick back or get buck wild is most often at least pleasant, and at times an invigorating expeience.
Music, Movies, and Books
L.: These lists are almost always silly and pretentious. Except YOURS. Aram: I like you.
One Amazing Thing I've Done
L.: You notice how as the categories go on and on and on and on the answers get shorter? Aram: FIN
My Interests
L.: Comics. Yes. Mmmm. Other things too, sometimes.* Aram: Graphic Novels. Tah! I'm classier**. *I enjoy creating and staring at art. I love all kinds of reading, literature of the fictional and nonfictional, "serious" and "beach" reading. I like taking bus lines that I've never gone on before, and I like walking down alleys. I like making friends with dogs and cats on the street. And comics. **Usurp class.
