It's amazing to be apart of this beautiful community and to share with you my home and my culture. It also gives me the opportunity to get to know people from all over the world and hear about their stories of travelling and their culture.

I have been hosting Couchsurfers over 10 years, and it has been one of the most refreshing experience of my life. I have opened my doors to so many wonderful friends from around the world and I feel the most privilege to do this.

Many I will never forget; some have become like family to me. Since Covid pandemic and the major impact it had on the world especially the way of living, things have gotten somewhat challenging to host Couchsurfers (friends)here in Jamaica. I think some countries have gotten hit very bad and have not fully recovered.

For basic means of living here in Jamaica has gotten, I would say quite rough and have caused me to limit the amount of days I can host a person for.

The cost for water, laundry, cleaning, transportation etc, is very costly for my monthly budget, I can only offer the below:

WHAT I CAN OFFER:
2 days ...a sofa with bed linen and pillow

COUCHSURFERS THAT WISH TO STAY LONGER:

With a small donation/contribution of $2000 JMD towards your stay for each night.
This will help towards water, laundry, etc.
